A yacht charter is the hire of a yacht with a professional crew for a defined period — an MCA-certified captain, STCW crew, and an onboard chef. You have nothing to manage — the crew handles navigation, cooking, logistics, and port calls.
A charter covers a wide range — from a compact motor yacht at €28,000/week to a 50-metre superyacht at €385,000/week in high season. The base rate represents only 65 to 70% of the true cost — the APA (Advance Provisioning Allowance) covers fuel, port fees, and provisions.
