Monaco Yacht Show 2026 — Charter a Superyacht for the World’s Biggest Yachting Event

From September 23 to 26, 2026, Port Hercule in Monaco hosts the Monaco Yacht Show — the global showcase for luxury superyachts. Over four days, 125 carefully selected superyachts are presented dockside to an international clientele of buyers, owners, brokers, and discerning yachting enthusiasts who make up the global elite of the yachting industry.

The Monaco Yacht Show is not just a boat show. It is the annual meeting point for the international HNWI community around luxury yachting — the place where the market’s most significant deals are signed, where the relationships that shape the next season are forged, and where the world’s new builds make their first public appearance.

And the best way to take part — not as an ordinary visitor, but as a central player — is to have your own superyacht in Monaco for those four days.

International Yachts Charter and Brokerage XXIII offers dedicated charters for the Monaco Yacht Show 2026 — with units available either alongside or at anchor in the bay of Monaco for the full duration of the show.

Monaco Yacht Show — What You Need to Know

The Show’s History

The Monaco Yacht Show has existed since 1991. In thirty-five years, it has become the undisputed global benchmark for the luxury superyacht market — surpassing METS Amsterdam and the Fort Lauderdale Boat Show in prestige and the quality of its clientele.

What sets MYS apart from all other boat shows is the stringent selection of yachts on display. Each year, several hundred applications are submitted for 125 exhibition berths. The selection criteria — build quality, design, technical innovation, heritage value — mean that only the finest superyachts in the world can be showcased at Port Hercule.

What Happens During the Show

Official presentations — shipyards present their new builds and future concepts through conferences and private presentations held on board the yachts on display.

Private transactions — Port Hercule during MYS is where some of the market’s most important deals are signed. Informal meetings on yacht decks generate more business than most boardrooms.

Networking — the concentration of HNWI stakeholders is unmatched outside the World Economic Forum. Owners, buyers, brokers, designers, builders, wealth managers — the density of decision-makers per square metre is unique in the world.

Private parties — MYS’s social programme is as intense as its business programme. Private dinners hosted on board the yachts on display, evenings in Monaco’s villas and hotels, receptions in the museums and heritage venues of the Principality.

Why a Superyacht Is the Key to the Monaco Yacht Show

The Difference Between Visitor and Player

Visiting the Monaco Yacht Show as a professional or as an informed enthusiast means accessing the port, visiting the yachts on display by invitation, and attending a few conferences. It is an interesting but limited experience.

Having your own superyacht in Monaco during MYS is a radical transformation of your relationship with the event.

Your yacht becomes your office — the receptions you host on board, private dinners overlooking Port Hercule, informal meetings on your aft deck — this is where the real business relationships in this industry are built.

Your yacht becomes your address — in Monaco, having an address alongside or at anchor during the show is a strong signal. It is the difference between being a spectator and being part of the scene.

Your yacht becomes your hospitality — inviting partners, clients, or prospects on board during MYS is one of the most powerful forms of corporate hospitality in the world of luxury yachting.

Corporate Charter at the Monaco Yacht Show

The Monaco Yacht Show is the corporate yachting event par excellence. Companies from around the world — private banks, wealth managers, luxury car manufacturers, fashion houses, prestige hotel groups — host their client hospitality during the show from a superyacht.

What our corporate clients host on board:

Private business dinners — 8 to 12 guests, a table set on the aft deck with a direct view of Port Hercule, a gourmet menu prepared by the onboard chef, impeccable service. Hospitality that leaves a lasting, differentiating impression.

Networking cocktails — 20 to 30 guests moving freely between the main deck, flybridge, and aft terrace. An ideal format to maximise meetings and conversations during the show.

Private tours of the displayed fleet — your onboard broker guiding you through the selection of yachts to visit, booking viewing slots on the most sought-after units, expert briefing before each visit.

Product presentations — for brands that wish to associate their world with yachting excellence — collection presentation, product launch, private press conference — a superyacht alongside during MYS is the most powerful setting available.

Monaco During the Yacht Show — Experiencing the Principality

Port Hercule — The Epicentre

Port Hercule is the only deep-water port in Monaco. During MYS, the 125 superyachts on display occupy the main quays — the rest of the port is accessible to charter yachts. Our team coordinates berth requests at Port Hercule in advance — available berths for non-exhibiting yachts become scarce quickly.

Alternative to the port — if Port Hercule is full, our captain positions the yacht in the bay of Monaco — 400 to 600 metres from the port — with a tender providing continuous transfers. This position offers an extraordinary view of the entire show from the water.

Monégasque Gastronomy During the Show

Monaco has an exceptional density of Michelin stars for a city of 2 km² — Louis XV by Alain Ducasse at the Hôtel de Paris, Le Grill, Blue Bay at Monte-Carlo Bay, Yoshi, Nobu. During MYS, all of these venues are fully booked weeks in advance.

Our reservation service — our chief steward handles bookings at Monaco’s best restaurants as soon as the charter is confirmed. For dinners on board, our onboard chef creates seasonal menus that rival the finest tables in the Principality.

Private Access

Monaco during MYS concentrates private events that are not accessible to the general public — gala dinners in the Palace gardens, private presentations in suites at the Metropole or the Hermitage, evenings at the Grimaldi Forum.

Our team — present in Monaco for over 20 years — has a network of contacts that enables us to secure access to some of these events for our charter clients. This access cannot be negotiated from the outside — it is earned through reputation and relationships.

Comparison with the Monaco Grand Prix

The Monaco Grand Prix and the Monaco Yacht Show are the two most in-demand events on our annual calendar. Here is how they compare for a charter:
