Porsche Paradise was born in October 1993 from an initiative by a few Var members of the “911 Méditerranée” Club. Michel Gemignani, the club’s president, decided to call it “Le Paradis Porsche de Saint-Tropez”—one week after the Nioulargue, the predecessor of Les Voiles de Saint-Tropez. The first edition, on 10 October 1993, brought together 180 crews around the finest Porsches of the time, from the 356 to the 964 RS. Among the participants were Paul Frère, legendary automotive journalist, Jürgen Barth, official Porsche driver, and the Almeras brothers’ racing team.
More than 30 years later, Porsche Paradise is listed on Porsche A.G.’s official calendar and brings together more than 500 cars every year—without counting those parked outside the official area by unregistered enthusiasts who come simply to be there. It has become an unmissable rendezvous that goes far beyond the club: a celebration of the Tropezian art of living around a shared automotive passion.
