Les Voiles de Saint-Tropez is the leading sailing event on the Mediterranean coast. Each year in late September, around 250 exceptional boats converge in the Gulf—classic sailing yachts, sometimes over a century old, J-Class, maxi racing yachts and ultra-modern vessels. July and August remain the benchmark period for lifestyle and family charters in Saint-Tropez. Pampelonne is at its liveliest, the Gulf is full of energy, and the beach clubs host their best parties. This is the most in-demand period—please book 4 to 6 months in advance.
Pampelonne is not a roadside beach. Its 5 kilometres of fine sand stretch between Pointe du Capon and Cap Taillat, with no coastal road—access is most seamless by sea. From a superyacht anchored 300–500 metres offshore, your crew will take you by tender directly to the beach or to your beach club’s pontoon. Back on board for lunch prepared by the onboard chef, back to the beach in the early afternoon—a rhythm only a yacht can offer.
